Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Production SupervisorYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role, you will be responsible for safety, quality and production in a plastic injection molding environment.The work model for the role is onsite.This role is contributing to the ABB ELIP Manufacturing facility in Portland, TN..You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Visual quality inspections of the product
  • Placing product in box with appropriate count in each box
  • Label product and boxes
  • Tape boxes
  • Lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs.
  • Monitor equipment operation
  • Assist in training new employees
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion - 5S
  • Follow standard work instructions
  • Participate in Lead Manufacturing efforts and Kaizan events
  • Cover other positions following appropriate training, as needed
Qualifications for the role
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of one month or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, request parts or supplies verbally or in writing.
