Job Description:Admin Director Plant Maintenance Full Time Days Position SummaryResponsible for providing counseling and disciplinary action in cooperation with the Chief Human Resources Officer. Manages and oversees the Facilities Management and Security Departments. Assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. Responsible for meeting and complying with TJC, CMS, and AHJs standards and regulations. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of an ongoing process and Quality Improvement program. The Director communicates and collaborates with other departmental staff for problem identification and resolution. Through the Director, activities are coordinated with other departments. Maintains professional knowledge and skills related to specific area of responsibility.THE ADMIN DIRECTOR PLANT MAINTENANCE FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 Years Previous progressively responsible experience in Facilities Operation Management in a Hospital Setting required.
  • Experience in the construction process including design, permitting, building of commercial/healthcare facilities.
  • Working knowledge of Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Electrical Systems, Generators, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Alarms Systems and automated control systems.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in Joint Commission, CMS, FGI Guidelines and NFPA regulations and oversight.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Budgets.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency and legal issues concerning managed departments.

Responsible for overall budgeting and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the departments. Ensures survey readiness for departments as it relates to TJC, CMS, and AHJs. Prepares operating and capital budgets for submission to hospital administration.Qualifications: Education:Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required
Preferred: MBA Experience:Required: 10 years progressive management experience with at least five years management experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
