- Directing, monitoring, assisting and training employees assigned to a specific area, line or team per Supervisor’s instructions.
- Communicating with and delegating tasks to team members.
- Operating machinery, equipment and tools in a safe and proficient manner according to standards, guidelines and instructions.
- Maintaining records, deliver, inspect and perform all activities required of other members of the area, line or team.
- Performing clean-up activities as assigned
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
- Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant’s food safety and quality objectives.
- Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
- Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company’s Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.
(Basic Qualifications)
- 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.
- Must be able to read and understand rules, tape measures, scales and thermometers.
- Must be able to read and understand product specifications established by Russell Stover Candies and recognize deviations from those specifications.
- Ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift to meet cleaning requirements.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and objectives
- Perform clean-up activities as assigned
(Preferred Qualification)
- 5 years of increasing leadership experience in a food manufacturing setting.
- Working knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office Products.
