The success of the Perfumes & Cosmetics division depends on finding the right balance between major historic Houses such as Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givenchy, Acqua di Parma, Guerlain, and newer brands with strong potential like Kenzo Parfums, Fresh, and Make Up For Ever.LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics invites you today to join its North America teams.LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is part of the LVMH Group.Job DescriptionThe Environmental, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing, maintaining all safety programs, regulatory programs, and safety policies.All aspects of safety fall in the control and responsibility of the Safety Manager including regulatory programs OSHA, weekly and monthly reporting, Workers Compensation, company safety policies, Medical First Responder, Hazard Identification, Injury Case Management and trending, Management of Change, and Regulatory Safety Training.Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Creates and implement workplace environmental, health and safety plans and procedures.
2. Evaluates environmental, health and safety practices and procedures for regulatory compliance and LVMH policies, works with management to resolve issues.
3. Designs, develops, and works with management on enforcing policies that establish a positive safety culture.
4. Management tasks such as project and warehouse safety, through effective leadership and coordination, ensure the smooth implementation of EHS work within the warehouse.5. Partner with the Distribution Center (DC) leadership and management team to develop a culture and supporting practices of zero accidents.
6. Manages investigations of all incidents ensuring root cause analysis are completed along with capturing and sharing lessons learned from the events.
7. Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures.
8. Performs EHS Training for DC employees, working on multiple shifts.
9. Analyze safety data and trends and develop plans based on the analysis.10. Leads and/or manages DC safety committees.Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Safety, Health & Environment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
  • Experience/Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and policies
  • Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and Medical Case Management.
  • Working knowledge of operational aspects of warehouse operations
  • Effective soft skills in communicating effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Working knowledge with safety management systems.
  • Consider including physical demands required for the job.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification
  • OHST/ASP/CSP certification is preferred.
