- Contribute to Community Impact projects, enhancing operational efficiencies and supporting broader business goals.
- Assist in coordinating philanthropic giving activities, including reviewing funding requests, responding to inquiries, and maintaining the grant management database.
- Support employee engagement efforts, including planning and execution of volunteer events such as during the global Month of Impact, data participation, and maintaining the matching gifts and volunteerism/ board service grant management system.
- Collaborate with internal and external communications teams to support content creation (e.g., gathering copy, photos, and videos), storytelling, and development of creative assets.
- Assist in developing presentations and communications for executive leadership, advisory committees, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives such as ESG reporting, in-person events, and corporate charitable sponsorships.
- Conduct strategic research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging regulations to support Cencora’s Community Impact strategies and initiatives, both internally and externally.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment by contributing ideas to support Community Impact objectives.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, public affairs, or a related field.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future
- Strong interest in community impact work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in drafting reports and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated interest in Community Impact and/ or broader Corporate Responsibility through previous internships, project experience, or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to be in the Conshohocken, PA office full-time for the duration of the internship.
