- Preparing responses to public records requests
- Researching and drafting legal opinions, memoranda, and other legal documents regarding Medicaid issues
- Reviews settlement proposals in order to makes recommendations to ODM staff
- Provides training to ODM staff on substantive legal issues
- Acts as a liaison between ODM staff and the Office of the Attorney General, other State agencies,
legal issues or mattersThe preferred candidate should have prior experience working in a law firm or government setting with a demonstrated interest in health care law and work experience providing legal advice and interpretations on substantive legal issues.
