- Manage daily job site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, proactively resolving issues to avoid delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and inspectors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, progress photos, and safety logs.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in light industrial or commercial construction.
- Proven success managing ground-up and renovation projects in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environments.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Effective communication skills with field teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and inspection procedures.
- Experience with lean construction practices and value engineering is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
