
Plant Finance Manager

- Partner with all levels of plant management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare operational financial reports, operational forecasts and similar financial ad hoc reports.
- Oversee operational accounting and fixed asset transactions and proper inventory cut-off, so that operational expenditures are accurately recorded.
- Provide financial analysis to Financial leadership and Plant Manager.
- Create budgets and forecasts for upcoming period(s) and year(s).
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on volume, sales, realization and other key performance indicators.
- Manage, direct and coordinate the monthly closing cycle i.e., updating files, numerous accruals and adjusting entries, for the West Region in order to have a timely, accurate and complete representation of our financial results.
- Manage and contribute to the post closing operational analysis in order to identify and evaluate variances and providing narratives on those variances.
- Maintain the plant standard costs and supporting commodities and resources.
- Manage and review all completed capital projects with the objective to determine of the planned goals were achieved, i.e., ROI, efficiency, personnel adjustments, spending reduction, etc.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational reporting tools in order to provide operation management timely and accurate data on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted, but we are looking for a minimum of 5 years of.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision to develop and complete a series of goals and tactics.
- Extensive working knowledge of Manufacturing ERP systems. Oracle Experience a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and develop others
- Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking (written and oral) skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, and other software/applications.
- Ability to travel between bakery locations up to 25%
