Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?
  • Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
  • If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Maintenance Technician - Logistics Details:
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $24.41 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • Various shifts available (Sunday through Saturday)
  • Maintain and repair automated warehouse systems, conveyors, robotics, and control panels
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records
Experience in Mechanical, Electrical & Motor Controls are a plus.
  • B shift; 6pm-4:30am Mon-Thur; $23.66/hr
  • D shift; 6pm-6am Sat and Sun; $24.41/hr,
Maintenance Technician - Logistics Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in automated or industrial environments)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a “get-it-done” attitude
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
