If you are ready to join an international company with talent around the world, and want to make a real impact, we want you on our team.What You'll Do:Administrative Assistants are responsible for providing support to our plants' administrative functions, tasks, accounts payable, inventory control, purchasing, and basic accounting tasks. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by managing documentation, coordination with vendors, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial processes.What We're Looking For:
- Assisting in all aspects of office administration including filing records, maintaining correspondence, HR duties, handling mail, including maintaining the Spartanburg Hub Sharepoint site and supporting the document control system.
- Overseeing daily administrative operations managing office functions, coordinating schedules, handling documentation, supporting plant management and scheduling catering and other items related to hosting visitors. The role also serves as the Plant Manager's administrative assistant.
- Managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth workflow, including being a liaison between IT and plant personnel to facilitate support as needed.
- Provide receiving function and service acceptance of invoices in the SAP accounting system.
- Implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This includes maintaining and utilizing the plant texting app (Text-Em-All) to keep employees appraised of direction needed in emergencies (e.g. weather events and plant closure).
- Processing payroll for plant employees including calculating hours, managing overtime, and addressing payroll discrepancies.
- Liaising with human resources and Talent Acquisition to assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new plant staff.
- Managing contracts and relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the plant has the necessary resources including managing uniform and PPE suppliers and the employee interface for these.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on plant performance including production statistics, budget adherence, and efficiency improvements.
- Organizing plant events and activities aimed at boosting employee morale and promoting a positive company culture. This also includes coordinating and leading events for our Community Investment Council. Though not frequent, these events will often require presence and support outside of normal working hours.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ Years of experience in an administrative support role. Manufacturing Environment experience is preferred.
- Experienced and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. SAP Experience is a plus.
- Experience interacting with all levels of plant personnel, corporate support functions and 3rd party suppliers and vendors.
