Join our team as the Best Buy Teen Tech Center Career Pathways Facilitator and be a part of igniting an education transformation at the intersection of science and technology that spreads opportunities across the Northwest!The Best Buy Teen Tech Center Career Pathways Facilitator engages local youth-ages 16-19-to participate in the Career Pathways program at OMSI's Teen Tech Center. They work with partners, create and deliver industry relevant and focused curricula and workshops, teach recurring soft-skills workshops that prepare program participants for summer internships and post-secondary endeavors, and secure two summer intern placements within OMSI and/or partner organizations.They will work closely with the Teen Tech Center Coordinator on daily operations of the space to ensure consistent open hours for teens, and they will also support the long-term planning and implementation for experiences related to other areas of teen programming.The Teen Tech Center is operated with support from Best Buy and the Clubhouse Network to provide support and resources for young people to pursue their interests and build upon their talents, mainly through technology. Activities include making and recording music, art, video, zines, animation, computer games, clothing, and more.Position is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:
