Check out this that highlights our amazing company culture.POSITION PURPOSE:The Human Resources (HR) Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and providing assistance to the HR team. The HR Specialist will perform a variety of daily functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and training. This position supports the company's multiple locations. This is a security-sensitive position and requires utmost confidentiality with all employer and employee information.Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years' human resources experience, preferred
HR certification (SHRM, HRCI), preferred

Highly proficient computer knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HCM system
Ability to travel as needed to other Bluebird offices
Manage offer letters, background checks, and employee eligibility verifications
Facilitate the onboarding and orientation of new hires
Payroll/Benefits:
Enter new hire information
Update and maintain HRIS
Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and benefits education
Serve as back up for bi-weekly payroll administration, including ensuring completion of tax filing and retirement plan contributions
Employee Relations and Communication:
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Maintain company's employee organizational chart
Assist with Performance Management
Create and support company culture initiatives
Training/Compliance:
Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Create and maintain employee files
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
