
Structural Intern – Bridges (Summer 2026)

- Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard engineering techniques and procedures on a variety of bridge types which may include steel girder, prestressed concrete beam, cable supported and buried structures for highway and railway projects.
- Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a Professional Engineer to assist in checking drawings and calculations, developing material lists and calculating quantities, reviewing construction submittals, inspecting and assessing structures and using structural design software
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
- May also include field services for site visits and NBIS inspection activities
- Perform other duties as needed
- Prefer 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Interest in Transportation and Structural Engineering
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry, such as MicroStation or AutoCAD
- Preference given to local candidates
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
