Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems such as domestic water system, hot water systems, chilled water systems, pool systems
  • Operate and understand basic television system, plumbing systems and electrical systems through the hotel
  • Assist other engineers with repairs
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations
  • Understand chiller operations
  • Clean all work areas after completing a job
  • Fill out daily paperwork
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to understand chiller operations
  • Preferred experience with general plumbing, general electrical, paint, drywall and wall vinyl repairs
  • Preferred mechanical plant experience and knowledge in heating and cooling systems such as: water boilers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, domestic water pumping stations and controls
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding or use a man lift to work at heights up to 30 feet, often times reaching above head for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnights, weekends and holidays
