- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently and reliably.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime.
- Perform repairs and component replacements as necessary to restore machine functionality.
- Train customers on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Document service activities, including service reports, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
- Proven experience as a service technician or engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or automation environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMI interfaces, and industrial automation software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
