- Design and develop automation solutions for Windows and Linux infrastructure deployment and management
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code implementations
- Build internal tools and platforms to streamline infrastructure operations
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing capabilities for critical systems
- Develop network infrastructure automation solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all automation solutions
- Lead system reliability improvements through automated testing and validation
- Collaborate with System Engineers to implement robust, repeatable deployment systems
- Manage technical changes across multiple environments using version control and change management best practices
- Collaborate with TPMs, PM-Ts, and System Engineers to identify automation opportunities
- Write and review code for infrastructure automation tools
- Debug and optimize existing automation solutions
- Participate in technical design reviews for new infrastructure deployments
- Monitor and improve the performance of automation systems
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for new automation features
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses and implement systematic improvements
- Mentor team members on automation best practices and coding standards
You will be joining a team that is responsible for delivering critical enterprise infrastructure that enables Kuiper's business across manufacturing, launch, and operations. We operate with a builder mindset, focusing on frugality with leverage through automation and AI. Our team works closely with manufacturing, launch operations, and security partners to ensure infrastructure readiness for Kuiper's ambitious scaling plans.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and automation
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally

The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market.
