Job Title: Automatic Door TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Automatic Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of automatic doors, including swing doors, revolving doors, sliding doors, and other access control systems. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of automatic door technologies, electrical systems, and safety protocols.Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and program automatic door systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to integrate automatic doors seamlessly into new or existing structures.
  • Perform routine maintenance on automatic doors to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automatic door systems, and execute timely repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Conduct thorough testing of installed automatic door systems to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee customer satisfaction and long-term reliability.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of automatic door systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to automatic doors.
  • Ensure that all installations and repairs meet safety and accessibility requirements.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • AAADM Certification preferred
  • Proven experience working with automatic doors, including swing doors, revolving doors, sliding doors, and associated control systems.
  • Familiarity with various automatic door manufacturers and their products.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
