Interns will work full-time hours during the summer.Job PurposeThe Compact and Large Tractor Product Validation group is responsible for testing and validating new products and revisions to current products-serving as the voice of the customer before products are introduced to the global market. This team ensures Case IH and New Holland tractors meet performance, safety, quality, and customer expectations, while also supporting validation efforts across other CNH product lines such as 4WD tractors, compact tractors, and sprayers.As a Field Product Performance Validation Engineering Intern, you will work as a full team member under the mentorship of experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience with vehicle testing, data acquisition, and performance validation.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include:Collaborating with stakeholders as a Field/Performance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to define project scopes, validation plans, and performance targetsCreating thorough test requests in the CNH Testing System (CTS) with clear procedures and acceptance criteriaActing as the voice of the customer by evaluating feature appeal, serviceability, repairability, and overall customer valueCompleting jury evaluations, software evaluations, and reliability tests on pre-production and production tractorsExecuting whole-vehicle lab and field tests (e.g., hydraulic efficiency, drawbar performance, suspension optimization, braking tests)Benchmarking competitive equipment to identify improvement opportunities and quantify performance gapsDiagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues while coordinating with SMEs to identify root causes and corrective actionsSelecting, calibrating, and installing instrumentation and data acquisition equipment for vehicle and subsystem testingCollecting and analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and determining whether systems meet specifications and safety/customer requirementsDocumenting results in technical reports, presenting findings to project stakeholders, and driving discussions and solutionsPreferred QualificationsCandidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in one of the following majors or a related field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural EngineeringWhat We OfferWe offer dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
