  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary
  • Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired finishes
  • Apply paint coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
  • Ensure even and smooth application of paint, taking into account specifications and project requirements
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Inspect finished work for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding paint materials, tools, and equipment
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proficient knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
  • Familiarity with various types of paint coatings and their applications
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, specifications, and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to painting and industrial environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in painting is a plus
  • Driver's license
