- Acknowledges , greets and converses in English with guests who require the Resort's shuttle/bus service.
- Safely transports guest via hotel shuttle or bus and adheres to all rules/regulations/laws with regard to the state of Mississippi and the Department of Transportation.
- Operates a motor vehicle with care and diligence.
- Accurately completes and handles paperwork related to scheduling and tracking of shuttle/bus use.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring area for underage gamblers.
- Suggests players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa.
- Suggests products, services and experiences to guests.
- Other duties as assigned.
- CDL Driver's License with a Passenger Endorsement and medical card.
- Previous experience as a bus driver or motorcoach driver is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years direct customer service experience is required with the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to every guest every time.
- Must possess excellent written and communication skills. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation with guests.
- Driving record must meet the Harrah's standards to drive company vehicles.
- Must have knowledge of city and knows directions to airport, other casinos, restaurants, etc.
- Must have knowledge of Gulf Coast events, shows, attractions etc.
- Able to work flexible schedule including any day of the week and any shift.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong attention to detail with both trip logistics and customers
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to converse fluently in English with customers.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
- Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
- Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah's Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership.
- Physical dexterity to operate a bus, transport guests or employees through crowded parking lots and surface streets in all kinds of weather.
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and energetic manner throughout the entirety of their shift.
- Ability to operate the wheelchair lift for guests who require the assistance.
- Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
- Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
- Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold).
- Responds to visual and aural cues.
- Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photo copy machine, fax machine, ten key, and printer.
- Able to tolerate a loud and noisy environment.
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to sit, stoop, reach and bend.
- Able to lift heavy baggage and luggage up to 80 pounds.
- Able to push and pull up to 200 pounds.
