But before friends and family share in the holiday spirit of gift-giving, we here at Big Island Candies share in the team spirit of gift-creating! We are seeking a Packer (Seasonal) for our Celebrations/Specialty Gifts department who will uphold our brand's reputation for producing high-quality products and delivering high-level customer service. Duties include (but not limited to): Assisting the team in creating elegant specialty gift items (packing gift boxes; preparing gift baskets).Additional qualifications and attributes include:
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to stay focused throughout the duration of the project;
  • Possessing a meticulous eye for ensuring finished products meet or exceed brand expectations;
  • Work well independently as well as part of a team; able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Physical requirements include:
  • Frequent standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending, lifting and stretching during the creation and assembly of specialty items and baskets, including ability to climb a stockroom ladder;
Working Hours:
  • Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Part-Time: Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 9:30 p.m. Night shift available starting November.
  • Weekends/nights/overtime, subject to peak/seasonal periods and operational needs.
