- Setup, operate, and prove-out programs on a variety of CNC and manual machines.
- Execute print-to-part manufacturing of precision tooling and hardware.
- Machine high-precision, quick-turn projects as well as small-batch production runs with consistent attention to detail.
- Perform machining operations from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal instructions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective, solutions-oriented feedback.
- Communicate clearly and proactively to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure all hardware meets blueprint specifications through meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactively identify and address issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of industry experts.
- Uphold a safe and healthy work environment to ensure everyone makes it “Home for Dinner.”
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Skilled in operating manual mills and lathes.
- Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
- Proficient in the use of precision inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc).
- Solid understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy with ability to learn new systems and tools.
- Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient in applied shop mathematics.
- Demonstrated pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Motivated to expand skillset and adapt to evolving company and industry needs.
- Willingness to work overtime as required to support production schedules.
- MasterCam proficiency or desire to learn.
- Aerospace background.
- 5 axis machining.
- Experience with lathe live tooling.
- On machine programming experience. (VPS)
