This position is tailored for individuals passionate about marrying scientific innovation with commercial success, focusing on cultivating new and existing relationships in the Boston/Cambridge area and beyond.Your Mission:
  • Reach the target revenues through new contracts and customer expansion.
  • Enhance sales team effectiveness with strategic hires and a clear performance policy.
  • Introduce a system for 90% accurate monthly sales forecasts.
  • Roll out a sales training program to boost customer service, aiming for 90% customer satisfaction.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a regional business plan targeting biomarker testing and Assay Development.
  • Engage with key accounts across the pharma, biotech, and academic sectors, leveraging your analytical skills and strategic vision.
  • Drive customer base growth through prospecting, presentations, roadshows, scientific conferences, and other initiatives.
  • Provide consultative support to clients, aligning FMP’s offerings with their research objectives.
Requirements
  • You hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, molecular biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • You bring commercial experience, preferably in research and development services, diagnostics, ‘omics, or molecular biology.
  • You have familiarity with the drug development and analytical markets, as well as the 'omics landscape.
  • You are prepared for partial remote work within the Boston area and frequent travel, including international visits to FMP french headquarters.
