- Overseeing all QMS activities, such as conducting ISO 9001 internal audit and Supplier audits as needed. Managing all external audits and being responsible for our certificate, working with our Global Quality Management Team.
- Collaborating with technical support teams to address field issues, close feedback loops, and integrate learnings into product and process enhancements.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for external audits (e.g., ISO, customer, regulatory, UL, etc.). Managing audit readiness, responses, and follow-up actions.
- Taking ownership of relevant KPIs, such as Delivered Quality, RMA, MRB, and CAPA.
- Managing the RMA process end-to-end, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and trend reporting to reduce recurrence and improve customer satisfaction.
- Leading quality planning and execution throughout the NPI lifecycle. Ensuring quality requirements are defined, validated, and verified during design, prototyping, pilot builds, and production ramp-up. Collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure robust product launches.
- Having direct interaction with Customers on potential issues or complains about product quality, packaging, or processes.
- Partnering with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is embedded in the design and launch of new products.
- Preparing and leading periodic management reviews, presenting quality performance metrics, audit outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Facilitating Kaizen events and CI initiatives across departments, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and quality ownership.
- Conducting risk assessments for new and existing processes, products, and suppliers. Implementing mitigation plans to proactively manage quality risks.
- Preparing and delivering clear, concise, and impactful presentations to senior leadership. Communicating quality performance, risks, and strategic initiatives with confidence and clarity.
- Overseeing development and implementation of training content to ensure compliance with standard regulations, procedures, and other requirements.
- Supervising and mentoring the quality assurance team member(s), providing guidance and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in the access control, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with managing a team in a previous role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of access control technologies (e.g., controllers, SIOs, RFID, Bluetooth, mobile credentials).
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, or ASQ CQE certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing RMAs, customer complaints, audits, and certifications.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional quality initiatives and NPI programs.
