
Software System Administrator

- Help design, implement, test, and maintain setup and configuration for the Fleet Management system (Fleet Focus).
- Coordinate with SaaS system partner (AssetWorks) and DHEC personnel to plan and execute system upgrades and maintenance to maximize performance and functionality while minimizing disruption to users.
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Coordinate with AssetWorks and designated DHEC personnel to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts as needed.
- Assign user account permissions, ensuring appropriate access to system functions and resources.
- Assist users with access, including password resets.
- Create and manage system user groups and access levels.
- Regularly audit access user lists and groups to maintain access security.
- Identify and coordinate with AssetWorks, DHEC IT, other designated DHEC personnel, and other third-party vendors to resolve all system issues.
- Identify and coordinate with DHEC IT and other DHEC personnel to assist users experiencing FleetFocus-related access and functionality issues.
- Set up and onboard new users into the system.
- Provide ongoing training and support for current users, including introducing new processes that may result from system upgrades, configuration changes, or updates to DHEC policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with AssetWorks, DHEC IT, other designated DHEC personnel, and other third-party vendors to facilitate the integration of data from other internal and external systems into FleetFocus.
- Monitor system master data to preserve its security, integrity, efficiency, and productivity.
- Help design, implement, test, and maintain all system reports.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to the following:
- FleetFocus system setup and configuration
- FleetFocus system upgrades and maintenance
- FleetFocus access security
- FleetFocus training
- FleetFocus data management and reporting
- Technical Skills:General understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, hardware components, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Security:Familiarity with security best practices and tools for protecting systems and data.
- Troubleshooting:Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Communication:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both DHEC users and external stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with others.
- Time Management and Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Education:A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
