The DEI Consultant will work closely with the Director, Vice President CDO, HR Staff and business leaders across the organization to ensure initiatives, resources and tools are effectively leveraged to drive business results and to ensure an inclusive and diverse employee population that align and support the organization goals.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSA.Education/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, organizational behavior, or related business discipline.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written and the interpersonal skill necessary to interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic planning skills and the demonstrated ability to be successful with project implementation.
  • Vision, creativity and a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion work.
  • Effective platform and facilitation skills. Must be a change agent.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills are critical.
B. Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience including at least 3-5 years of diversity, equity, and inclusion work within an organization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and maintains processes and systems to hold leaders accountable for their support, implementation, and eventual ownership of DEI in their divisions and departments.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and support to management in their development as "champions of diversity, equity and inclusion" to function as change agents in the organization.
  • Recognize and respond to regional and local diversity needs, issues and initiatives DEI tools, strategic assessments, best practices, and benchmarking to support the needs of the organization
  • Provide cultural change in support of Bronson Health ability to deepen its relationship to key diverse segments across employees, customers, and partnerships.
  • Works closely with leaders on two of the primary DEI Strategic objectives: Recruitment/Retention/Development of talent, Supplier Diversity, Health Equity, or Community Relations.
  • Partners with leaders in the organization regarding DEI initiatives and their impact on an employee’s experience to effect results that promote Bronson Health company values and vision statement.
  • Builds relationships and provide expert counseling to various client/groups. Enhances and maintains management commitment through building awareness for the business case of DEI, ensuring basic conceptual clarity about DEI.
  • Develop DEI metrics, devising ongoing measures to support the evolution of diversity, equity, and inclusion as cultural anchors.
  • Supports the development of DEI specific initiatives i.e., Employee Resource Groups, DEI Mentorship programs.
