
Senior Sales Enablement Manager

- Execute on sales enablement initiatives and facilitate learning programs that provide best-in-class sales strategies, tools, and resources to help our sales teams maximize effectiveness, drive profitable growth, and deliver measurable value to our clients.
- Basic Function: Expert in the development and facilitation of advanced sales skill programs and tools, sales leadership development, and sales coaching.
- Develop and facilitate foundational and advanced sales planning sessions and courses to help sales professionals better meet client needs and deliver value, elevate selling skills and solutions acumen, and maximize effectiveness (virtual and in-person)
- Participate and drive the design and testing of advanced training sessions, sales planning tools, coaching game-plans, and a standardized sales onboarding program to improve effectiveness and performance
- Conduct intake calls with sales manager to identify development needs, and plan for the successful onboarding of newly hired sales professionals
- Manage and facilitate components of sales onboarding program as required
- Support sales managers and their teams by providing skill building sessions and refreshers to reinforce learning, drive usage of sales planning tools, and improve client engagement skills
- Conduct individual coaching sessions with sales managers who seek to reach a higher level of coaching proficiency and achievement with their sales teams
- Assist in the certification, ramp-up and training of internal instructors
- Must be able and willing to travel throughout North America up to 50%
- Must have the ability to successfully prepare for and pass certification on 1-2 programs per year thereafter
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional certifications in sales training methodologies; as well as formal training or certification in Coaching strongly desired
- 6+ years' experience facilitating advanced sales training programs
- 4+ years outside sales experience in the B2B market
- Experience as a sales manager, regional manager or national manager with a focus on coaching and sales performance
- Curriculum design and program development experience highly desired, but not required
- Candidate must be proactive, with a strong work ethic who is able to work both collaboratively and independently
- Ability to learn new material quickly and certify on 2-3 new sales programs a year to facilitate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be articulate and skillful in leading business discussions and exploring sales development needs with field management; Must be adept at creating rapport and building collaborative relationships
- Attentively listens to others; Must be able to give and receive feedback in a productive, professional manner Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management required; Must be able to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and pay attention to detail
- Strong computer skills; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and the ability to quickly learn new software programs. Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 10 years experience in a high-performance engineering industry, sales organization, in a sales enablement role or strategy.
- A strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools, and training
- Data driven, strategic and tactical thinker with a strong ability to assess performance, provide candid and productive feedback
- Ability to support, build trust and create confidence with the Sales organization
- Excellent communication skills, fast learner, self-starter
- Measurable experience with having a positive impact on business outcomes, such as win rate, quota attainment, length of sales cycle, etc.
- Experience in executing change management initiatives with established approaches
- Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change
