Team member on risk based and J-SOX audit assignments, including review of supporting evidence and develop conclusions on the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
Responsible for performing J-SOX financial and operational audits under the guidance of the Audit Manager and senior staff.
Perform audit testing, draft audit findings, and recommendations as directed by the Audit Manager or Audit Senior
Involved in the improvement of GIA processes
May participate in fraud / ad-hoc investigations and other special projects
Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications Required:
Some accounting experience, internal or external audit experience (this role would ideally suit someone with 2-3 years’ experience)
BS / BA degree with specialization in Finance or Accounting, or working towards degree
Excellent team working abilities
Ability to work flexibly & independently. Work location is currently split between home and Northwood office
Travel of 10-20% is expected, mainly North & South America
Ability to work in a diligent and proactive manner, while showing enthusiasm and initiative
Effective facilitation, oral and written communication skills when dealing with individuals at all levels of the Group
Analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, for use in both financial/non-financial areas
A desire to further develop your career, either within GIA or the wider business
Qualifications Desired:
Data analytics experience
Foreign language, particularly Spanish or Portuguese
Experience of SAP, IDEA (or other data analytics software)
