Pay: $30.00/hourSirius Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team in a critical support role with the potential for transition to a regular full-time position. This is a confidential and urgent search for a highly skilled professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and bring strong expertise in SAP.Position OverviewThe Customer Service Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring accurate order management and seamless communication between internal teams and customers. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via shared email and phone, delivering timely and professional responses.
- Accurately enter and maintain domestic and import sales/sample orders in SAP, including pricing, product details, delivery dates, and account information.
- Monitor and manage open orders, coordinating changes related to customer requests, production schedules, or shipping delays.
- Maintain customer pricing in SAP; run price block reports and ensure accurate billing for shipped orders.
- Process chargebacks (e.g., demurrage, detention) with precision for customer billing.
- Leverage SAP, OneNote, and SharePoint to manage customer and product information while maintaining the Z block report.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, ESHS, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Provide coverage for colleagues during absences or vacations.
- Create and maintain accurate customer profiles to support daily operations.
- Conduct business with a commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and industrial hygiene as top priorities.
- 5+ years of customer service experience; chemical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven proficiency with SAP as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative to think outside the box.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
