Our hospital offers a range of medical services designed to help you feel whole and live your best, healthiest life.The role youll contribute:The Medical Laboratory Technologist I is responsible for the processing and testing of all laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains accurate laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the LaboratoryThe value youll bring to the team:Technical skills and aptitudes related to the laboratory testing, procedures and processes performed in department or work area assignedFollows and ensures adherence of staff, to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local,state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies; always protects confidentiality of patient information and resultsAbility to work independently and adapt to varying priorities, including directing workflow with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain equipment/records and perform quality assessment activitiesAbility to operate computer systems in order to maintain patient documentation, testing records, and other related documents QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:Associate DegreeBachelor's degree medical technology or related sciences with appropriate state licensure if required or appropriate national certificationOne year of Clinical Lab experience This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
