- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality control, maintenance, and shipping
- Ensure production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff
- Create a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional development
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular safety audits and provide training to maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials and components
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to stay within budget
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including production metrics, quality issues, and cost analysis
- Work with the customer service team to address any production-related issues or concerns and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing setting
- Experience in similar industries is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations. Familiarity with inventory management and production planning.
- Salary up to $175,000 depending on level of experience
