- Design and implement scalable integration solutions using RESTful APIs and ETL frameworks.
- Design, develop and maintain API interfaces for internal and external systems, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
- Establish best practices that support reusable components within the integration competency center and those systems.
- Lead the integration of third-party applications and services into the enterprise ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows, ensuring data integrity and system uptime.
- Document integration processes, data flows, and technical configurations with clarity and consistency.
- Foster a culture of mentorship by guiding and supporting developers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adopt new tools and platforms.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of organization in managing multiple integration projects and priorities.
- 8+ years of experience in systems integration, with a focus on API and ETL development.
- Strong proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
- Security best practices around RESTful API design and implementations.
- Familiarity with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, SSIS).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (iPaSS) (e.g, Informatica, MuleSoft, Boomi).
- Experience with a wide range of API types, including:
- SOAP APIs for legacy and enterprise systems.
- Streaming APIs (e.g., Kafka, WebSockets) for real-time data integration.
- Batch and ETL/ELT APIs for large-scale data processing.
- Webhook APIs for event-driven architectures.
- OAuth/OpenID Connect and SAML APIs for secure authentication and authorization.
- SaaS and Cloud Service APIs (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, AWS, Azure).
- Database APIs for SQL/NoSQL data access.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in learning new applications and technologies.
- Strong mentoring skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in integration contexts.
- Bachelor's Degree in (Data Analytics, Business, Technology, Computer Science or related field) preferred or equivalent experience
