- Responsible for providing technical support to departmental network and computer operations by troubleshooting and resolving issues with IT systems when they arise.
- Configures hardware installations and system applications. Installs all computer hardware and associate equipment and all software packages.
- Performs diagnostic testing and troubleshooting. Resolves IT issues in a timely manner.
- Communicates with employees to discuss problems.
- Assists employees through the process of fixing software, e-mail, web, and other application issues.
- Prioritizes workload to ensure the most critical issues are resolved first.
- Documents common support procedures that employees can follow.
- Ensures optimal performance of the system by working with external software and hardware consultants and manufacturer representatives.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
- 48 months experience in operation, installation, and repair of IT equipment and systems.
- Advanced knowledge of different applications and systems
- Expertise in diagnosing and solving IT problems
- Advanced knowledge of remote desktop applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
