- Support e-Discovery for all US IP Litigation matters, including legal hold implementation and cross-functional collaboration with departments across the company to identify, collect and review relevant records for review and production. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in eDiscovery platforms, including Relativity.
- Manage and organize case files, track deadlines, and maintain organized records of all case-related information.
- Prepare, compile, organize, and maintain team files, including internal knowledge share libraries, matter chart, expert database, and settlement agreements.
- Track conflicts and waiver requests.
- Compile and prepare documents for attorney working files (i.e., creating case binders as needed).
- Handle new matter creation, including engagement letters, setting up billing and budgets with outside counsel.
- Conduct legal research to support attorneys’ case strategy (IPD Analytics, LexisNexis, WestLaw).
- Work with IP Litigation team, legal operations, and broader Litigation & Investigations teams for matter and department management initiatives, including budget support.
- Management of outside vendor relationships and other project management.
- This role also involves administrative responsibilities including: creating email distribution lists, new hire onboarding checklist, IT requests, scanning, printing, and copying assistance, conference room reservations, planning team building events, scheduling meetings, file storage.
- Typically requires a BS or BA degree, paralegal certification, and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Recent experience supporting active patent litigation throughout prelitigation, settlement, and trial or arbitration hearing stages.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Lexis, Westlaw, and IPD Analytics. Must be comfortable learning new information technology systems.
- Experience with legal software commonly used in a legal environment, e.g., Docket Navigator, TeamConnect, Persuit, Relativity, and/or iManage, is a plus.
- The position requires independently taking ownership for work product and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in-house at a pharmaceutical or biotech company is a plus.
- Experience with domestic and/or foreign patent litigation or prosecution is a plus.
- Experience obtaining notarization and legalization of documents is a plus.
