Your purposeful career begins here.Summary:We are seeking a skilled National Accounts Senior Analyst to perform day-to-day accounting, optimize sales operations, financial reporting, and analysis for our national accounts. This role involves managing collections, preparing, and presenting accurate, timely, and strategically focused financial reports, and providing strategic insights to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.Essential Functions:
  • Conduct day-to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for assigned functional areas.
  • Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned functional areas.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, variance analysis, and explanations.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile intercompany balances for national accounts.
  • Manage national accounts collections, including resolving chargebacks, non-payments, credits, and other payment-related issues.
  • Provide support for external audits and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and enhance the customer experience for national accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all product and sample needs are met for national accounts.
  • Act as the key point of contact for sales teams regarding technical challenges and data-related inquiries for national accounts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure relevant marketing support materials are available for national accounts.
  • Analyze data from internal and external sources, converting it into useful information to enhance operations.
  • Make recommendations and drive strategic decision-making across national accounts.
  • Develop and oversee precise sales forecasts at the SKU level for national accounts, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and aligning with cross-functional teams to coordinate inventory management.
  • Establish effective reporting systems to track KPIs across national accounts, delivering regular reports to brand teams, operations teams, and senior management.
  • Manage progress on assigned KPIs for national accounts.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and continuously monitor trends across national accounts to stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by refining processes, pinpointing bottlenecks, and suggesting solutions to improve productivity.
  • Capture and update results for all Field Sales Incentive contests and oversee validation of Field Sales Incentive Compensation (IC) payout calculations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting for Brand Teams related to HCP, Salons, and Retail strategic initiatives.
  • Other duties as requested by the Business.
Competencies:

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, financial analysis, and sales with a strong emphasis on analytics and forecasting.
  • Proven expertise in analytics tools and methodologies across various channels.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, sales forecasting, and operations across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:
  • The normal working hours of the office are from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
