
Production Supervisor (Days) - Autoclave/Oven

- Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documents
- Leads team's performance and gives direction to others while performing the same manufacturing processes
- Organizes work crew with the job overview and layout of work
- Provides on the job training to new workers
- Performs critical debris checks of Oven prior to and after use.
- Uses forklifts, Cranes and pallet jacks, moves, locates and balances large parts in the appropriate ovens
- Set schedules and ensure rotation of Autoclave and Oven resources to maintain a high level of job performance in each of the disciplines through cross training
- Improves the technicians understanding of the job at hand
- Builds the technical skills of the team and constantly improves quality and efficiency
- Keeps work orders stamped, dated and organized
- Enforces Janicki Industries Rules and Safety Practices and keep work areas clean and organized
- Enforces 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap Standards and Practices throughout all work performed
- Limits and controls use of shop consumables
- Participates in training, safety and quality programs
- Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
- Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
- A two-year technical certificate or bachelor's degree in a directly related field may be substituted for experience. Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
- One-year manufacturing experience is required.
- Prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair is preferred.
- Crane and forklift experience preferred
- Must have the ability to read, understand and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings and other technical documents
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Must be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearance.
- Wage range for this role is between $20 - $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
