What does a successful CI/CD Solutions Engineer do at Client?
A successful CI/CD Solutions Engineer at Client merges software engineering and operational expertise to enhance automation and efficiency. They are responsible for designing and implementing tools, processes, and systems to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our large-scale applications and services.What you will do:
Automate operational tasks, health checks, release, and deployments to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Monitor system availability and health, using observability tools for creating alerts and dashboards.
Analyze business processes and operational metrics to identify and address reliability gaps.
Consult on system design, platform management, and capacity planning in partnership with development operations teams.
Develop comprehensive documentation for SOPs, configurations, infrastructure maps, and resolution of known errors.What you will need to have:
7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering (SRE) within the Fintech or product organization.
5+ years of hands-on experience automating tasks using Python or Java, and automation tools such as Ansible and Powershell.
5+ years of experience working with observability and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Moogsoft, and Grafana.
Extensive experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitLab, Harness, Nexus, Terraform, and SonarQube.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field and/or 7+ years of relevant work experience.
What would be great to have:
8+ years of experience managing complex systems and infrastructures.
Strong background in SDLC, deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning.
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including experience with customer interaction to manage solution requirements
