In this role, you will provide expert medical/psychological consultation to adjudicator staff, review records, assess impairment severity, and ensure compliance with Social Security regulations to guide disability determinations.Why Join Us?

Qualifications:
  • Education: MD, DO, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
  • Licensure: Active Washington State license; must be authorized to conduct business in WA.
  • Experience: 2+ years of post-graduate clinical training or experience; 5+ years of DDDS consultation experience (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical/psychological record interpretation and Social Security regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Additional Requirements: No exclusion from participation in federal healthcare programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret medical/psychological records to assess impairment severity.
  • Provide expert guidance to DDDS adjudicators on disability determinations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and DDDS protocols.
  • Attend quarterly consultant meetings to discuss process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with staff.
