OverviewTRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a globally known energy efficiency and utility services consultancy. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country’s most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.TRC is seeking a Project Manager to support the development and implementation of a portfolio of residential and commercial electric energy efficiency and demand response solutions in and around the state of Oklahoma. The portfolio of programs will deliver education and opportunities to earn financial incentives for participating residents and businesses who purchase high-efficiency products and equipment and enroll in programs to manage their energy use. This position will act as the Project Manager responsible for a wide variety of functions related to the development and ongoing management of program operations, including coordination with clients, customers, subcontractors and trade allies to deliver clean energy programs to residents and businesses across the territory. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the energy landscape of the region along with relationships and legacy knowledge to help inform successful program design, continuous improvement, and goal achievement. A hands-on, collaborative approach combined with technical knowledge is desired to push the team to achieve program goals.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Develop strong partnerships with market actors, subcontractors, industry affiliates and other stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and perform resource planning.
- Support development of the business process and program infrastructure for energy program services, including program policies, procedures, incentives and participation requirements.
- Deliver professional reports to senior program management and clients.
- Collaborate with other peer program managers to further develop energy program services.
- Lead and manage diverse cross functional staff and remove barriers as needed to ensure their success.
- Residency in or near Oklahoma City, OK.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of relevant program implementation or project management experience within the energy sector.
- Valid Driver’s Licenses (must be obtained prior to employment). Access to a vehicle. Some travel may be required within Oklahoma and surrounding states.
- Experience working on multiple high profile fast paced projects in parallel, completing projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with customer service and client satisfaction.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to execute joint goals.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or other workflow management and project tracking tools.
- Proficient with MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency and conservation in homes and commercial buildings.
- Hands-on project management experience with exceptional attention to detail and client service.
- Success in developing and implementing plans and management of budgets and resources.
- Extensive experience with building and leading complex and diverse teams effectively.
- Awareness and familiarity with Oklahoma and Arkansas energy efficiency landscape, related regulatory requirements, and key players.
- Awareness of social, economic, and environmental contexts of statewide energy policies.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and monitor performance metrics to support program goals.
