As a Residential Rehabilitation Counselor 2, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the daily operations of the residential unit. Working collaboratively with a team, you will implement effective residential treatment strategies that contribute to the rehabilitation of individuals at SCC. Your knowledge and safety experience will be instrumental in making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.At SCC, we value our employees and offer additional benefits. In addition to the advertised salary, our employees receive a $10 per day premium pay and a free Orca card for transportation use. Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate. - Providing direct day-to-day monitoring and care for the resident population.
- Engaging with residents, assisting them in developing skills, and helping them become positive members of society.
- Assisting and coaching residents in acquiring life skills necessary for a successful transition back into the community.
- Instructing and encouraging residents while maintaining regular interaction and redirecting them when necessary.
- Staying informed about changes to residents' treatment goals and offering support and motivation.
- Escorting residents to and from different areas/locations within TCF
- Monitoring resident use of prescription medications.
- Ensuring safety and security within the living environment through routine inspections.
- Providing accurate and detailed written documentation and reports on residents' progress toward treatment goals.
