Join a state-owned long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to Arizona’s veterans and residents. This is a long-term contract with no definitive end date. We are seeking compassionate, dependable CNAs who meet all requirements and are committed to delivering high-quality care.Position Details:Type: Contract (Full-Time)Setting: Long-Term Care FacilitySchedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), 35–48 hours per week, every other weekend requiredLocal candidates onlyJob Responsibilities:Assist veterans and residents with activities of daily living including transfers, ambulation, bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygieneProvide support with dining, including transporting residents, reviewing meal options, assisting during meals and maintaining a respectful environmentTake and record vital signs, collect specimens and monitor input/outputAssist with simple medical procedures, treatments, post-surgical care, and post-mortem careMaintain accurate documentation and medical recordsEnsure cleanliness and sanitary conditions by changing linens and cleaning resident areasRespond promptly to requests for assistance and follow emergency proceduresTransport residents to appointments and perform clerical duties as neededParticipate in Arizona Management System (AMS) processes and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activitiesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:Para-professional nursing care principles and practicesState regulations governing CNA practicesUse and maintenance of medical equipmentTechniques for maintaining a safe and hygienic environmentSkills in:Applying nursing care methods and techniquesRecording and maintaining medical recordsCommunicating effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to:Establish and maintain effective working relationshipsLearn and implement AMS processesLicensure and Education:Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of ArizonaRequirements – All Candidates Must Provide the following at time of submission:ResumeActive Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant License/CertificationAZ Fingerprint Clearance CardCurrent CPR/BLS certificationCOVID-19 vaccination status documentationTB Skin Test completed within the last 6 monthsImportant:
