- Integrate MISO/PSYOP/OIE and current operations into contingency plans and operations plans to ensure that MISO/PSYOP/OIE capabilities are considered in the deliberate and crisis action planning processes.
- Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills; creatively use information systems and information related capabilities (IRC); integrate with interagency and intelligence community (IC); develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Cyber and electromagnetic spectrum; and consider significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments.
- Review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level OIE-related directives in support of maneuver elements.
- Effectively apply technical skills to operational and tactical planning/execution, identifying and tracking measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness, and providing advice concerning the application of MISO/PSYOP/OIE during the development of operational concepts.
- Support the production of status reports, assess project issues and risks, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Assist with STO and Special Activities Planning efforts
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience; or master’s degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience
- An additional four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- MISO/PSYOP (37A/37F) MOS or sister-service equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of planning experience in support of operations at Combatant Commands, service component commands, or Joint Task Forces.
- Expert knowledge of joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, military campaign plan planning, and CONOP development
- Experience working with national strategies (e.g. National Security Strategy, National Military Strategy), theater campaign plans, OPORDs, and similar planning documents
- Expert knowledge of combatant command level structure (TSOCs, service component commands, JTFs) and experience navigating joint staffs and procedures
- U.S. Citizenship and a current U.S. Passport with ability to travel internationally.
- DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Recent joint or service level information operations planning experience
- Familiarity with other core, supporting, and related IO competencies to assist CCMD planners is required.
- Proficient in integrating MISO/PSYOP capabilities into cyber plans and operations.
- Knowledge of military command relationships and command and control (C2) procedures.
- Able to coordinate MISO/PSYOP actions within the proper channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of C2.
- Experience coordinating with ACCM Program Managers and Coordinators at the Department of Defense, Joint Staff, Military Departments, Combatant Commands, DOD Field Activities, and interagency partners
