People who can effectively coordinate and focus the work of skilled employees toward an important goal, prioritizing to the right activities that lead to success.What You Will Do:Manage directly or through subordinate supervisors the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering team assigned to one or multiple Business UnitsProvide hands on management of installation, preventive maintenance and repair/improvement of plant equipmentUse of the Lockout/Tag out procedures to ensure safe repair/maintenance on machines/equipmentMaintain and continuously improve use of the preventive maintenance programRead and interpret schematics/equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsAssure all safety regulations are followed and maintain clean and orderly work areasResearch, design and implement new technology to improve equipment performance and quality to the customerLead engineering change management activitiesSupport procurement processWhat You Need:Bachelor's degree in Engineering required8+ years of work experience requiredPeople management experience highly preferredDemonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical and industrial fabricationUnderstanding and support of continuous improvementKnowledge of PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic design and repairTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
