- Own the delivery of 24/7 production support, including participating in a rotating on-call schedule and responding promptly to any issues that arise.
- Lead the management of environment infrastructure for various systems, ensuring smooth operation of Internet Information Services, Kubernetes, Azure, application deployments, and client/server certificate replacements.
- Be responsible for monitoring and addressing both automated and manual application alerts and notifications to maintain system integrity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge articles and support procedures to facilitate evolving support tasks and ensure team readiness.
- Conduct thorough data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results, and effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support and manage the configuration of PIN Pads to ensure seamless in-store purchase transactions.
- Complete code development tasks for front-end, back-end, processing, and web components to enhance and maintain system functionality.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of software engineering experience.
- 1+ years of experience with database management and querying using SQL.
- Availability for 24/7 production support on a rotating on-call schedule as required.
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to develop the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C# for troubleshooting and minor code adjustments.
- Experience with payment processing systems and related technologies.
- Experience with customer support or help desk software to enhance user interaction and issue tracking.
- Familiar with infrastructure components including client/server, workstations, servers, networks, databases, firewalls, and middleware technologies.
- Exposure to cybersecurity principles, practices and security components like certificates, ciphers, and shared secrets.
- Experience with data visualization tools or techniques to aid in interpreting and presenting data analysis results.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies to effectively participate in team-based project management.
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Knowledge of containerization technology, such as OpenShift, and Docker.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and a willingness to learn best practices.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and an eagerness to develop skills in application deployment and support.
