- Learn manufacturing processes as assigned to create improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost
- Lead nonconforming product resolution to include creating containment action plans and root cause corrective action activities including COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) metrics; lead corrective actions, including changes to procedures to ensure completeness and currency
- Participate in customer reviews of quality concerns, discussions, and presentations; and internal meetings related to quality issues
- Compile, audit and approve audit product compliance documentation, including EIDP (End Item Data Package), FAI (First Article Inspection), source inspection materials, etc.
- Participate in collaborative, cross-functional process improvement activities
- Perform internal audits for process and procedure compliance
- Mentor entry level Quality Engineering team members
- Define rework procedures for nonconforming material
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or Related Field of Study
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
- OR (12) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
- OR (6) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
- OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.Experience working with Quality Management systems
- Strong knowledge of Quality concepts (e.g. Risk Management, CAPA, Audits, Statistics) is preferred
- Experience in circuit card manufacturing preferred
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $96,376 - $120,470 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
