- Work location is mostly at the Tyto San Diego office, with occasional Government site visits in accordance with customer demand.
- Support Government Base Communications Offices (BCO) and prime vendor, responsible for managing the maintenance and operational support for Base Telephone Systems (BTS) at 23 locations throughout the San Diego area and Southern California.
- Liaison with Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR), BCO Managers, and prime vendor managers to assist with technical solutioning, maintenance/repair scheduling, material ordering, task order preparation, and proposal quoting.
- Manage personnel tasking, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, and Tyto Network Operations Center (NOC) 24/7/365 continuous remote monitoring operations.
- Ensure completion of monthly customer deliverables, including Monthly Financial Report, Monthly Technical Activity Report, and Monthly Invoice. Convene monthly financial/contractual review with the customer stakeholders.
- Assume Profit & Loss responsibility for the contract performance. Provide monthly and annual revenue, margin, and headcount forecasts to Tyto corporate management.
- Manage the prime and subcontractor vendor relationships with Tyto Contracts and Supply Chain. Assist with contract mods, anticipatory costs, subcontract agreements, statements of work, purchase requisitions, purchase order modifications, and vendor financial execution.
- Perform project control functions including financial management, monthly obligations/expenditure tracking, forecasting, sensitivity analyses, invoice evaluation, accrual estimates, and ad hoc customer requests.
- Provide personnel management for all Tyto employees, including staffing/onboarding, annual goals and performance evaluations, merit decisions, and disciplinary actions. Approve all employee timesheets, travel, PTO, and other requests.
- Work with Government and Tyto Security to ensure appropriate employee security clearances, facility access, document control, annual training, and inspection requirements.
- Adhere to the Tyto Quality Management System by developing project artifacts and providing timely measurements to deliver the monthly Project Management Review to senior leadership.
- Grow the business, both organically and through new business development activities. Develop and participate in business development activities as needed by corporate management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical, management, business, or related discipline.
- Eight (8) or more years of experience managing technical support services contracts in support of Federal Government customers, especially DOD.
- Solid experience with telecommunication projects, including inside plant (ISP)/outside plant (OSP) maintenance, Avaya systems, networking/switching, circuit infrastructure, move/add/change (MAC) requests, program acquisition, sustainment support, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates at all levels.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, web-based applications, and databases.
- Current active Secret clearance as reported in DISS.
