DescriptionIf you're looking for a full-time position and love working with your hands while building relationships, we have a great opportunity for you!Assigned Duties1) Perform grounds maintenance, including parking lots by completing trash clean up (including trash enclosures), snow removal, weed pulling, tree and shrub trimming2) Perform/assist with all maintenance requests accurately and within the allotted time frame.3) Provide Site Manager with the initialed completed request with minimal call-backs.4) Perform inspections with manager and smoke detector inspections5) Repairs and maintains community equipment and the physical structure of the communities as assigned6) Responsible for care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the properties.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Property Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of apartment and townhome communities with guidance from the Maintenance Technician. Additionally, this person is responsible for groundskeeping and cleaning duties as assigned.People that are successful in this position have:
Previous customer service experience.
Previous remodeling or construction experience.
Ability to take direction from others and work as a team.
Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to work independently while staying on task.

Must be punctual and reliable.
Salary Description$18.00 - $19.50 per hourRequirements
Must have hand tools to use on the job site.
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Ability to work 40 hours per week.
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
Must be willing to travel between properties using your own vehicle.
