- Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Locum Tenens
- Location: Rhinelander, WI 54501 (Wisconsin healthcare jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MS ICU)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 22, 2025
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Floating: To similar units and other Aspirus locations within a 40-mile radius as needed
- Charting System: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100 - $2,250
- Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Current AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Critical access or rural hospital experience highly preferred
- Ability to care for occasional pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:4 if floated to SCU
- Float to similar units and other Aspirus healthcare locations as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC for accurate patient charting and clinical documentation
- Provide care for occasional pediatric surgical patients
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as part of the nursing team
