- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in general computer and Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years of hotel sales experience preferred
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
- Highly organized, detailed-orientated, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Supports the Area Director of Sales with a focus on optimizing revenue and bookings
- Communicate pertinent information regarding groups to the various departments of the hotel to ensure a cohesive and consistent process with the overall goal of customer and guest satisfaction.
- Organizing and maintaining detailed group information and entering into correct systems
- Responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and improvement
- A clear understanding of the hotel's business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Update action plans and Sales & Marketing plans on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
- Represent Hotel in various events and exhibitions.
- Conducts daily sales calls and arranges site inspection trips by corporate clients.
- Able to provide quick and timely responses and develop professional long-term business relationships.
- Provide the highest quality of service to the client at all times.
- Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
- Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
- Providing exemplary guest service by demonstrating a personal commitment to making every guest satisfied.
