- Oversee and actively work with B&G work order system and other Mt Mary systems
- Calendar management for team members, scheduling meetings, schedule vendors and appointments as needed.
- Support human resources functions including onboarding new employees.
- Work as the lead contact for Event Requests coming from the general public.
- Actively builds events and rental services Mt Mary can generate income.
- Communicates effectively with department team members, students, faculty, and vendors to help smooth operations.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, correspondence, and report generation.
- Supervise front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and clients.
- Lead team management efforts by providing guidance and support to staff members.
- Aid in supervising daily office activities to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage 2 or more students in an internship program
- Requires administrative skills including ability to create budgets, input data, create charts, graphs and reports and keeping management, clients and sponsors updated regularly.
- Involves heavy data-input.
- Keeps track of project/production assets.
- Prepares schedules and reports as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by B&G Director.
- Manages vendors and partners via department systems
- Manages small B&G construction projects
- Supports the Director of B&G on larger projects Reports to the Director of B&G
- May oversee 2 to 4 student workers
- Strong background in office or department management.
- Seasoned experience in event planning and scheduling
- Ability to mentor departmental staff to enhance their performance, development and productivity.
- Proven leadership role preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, ordinance and regulations of State and local authorities
- Ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints and schematics
- Ability to work in fast paced, rapidly changing environment and a STRONG work ethic and desire
- to learn.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work with
- diverse groups to provide positive customer service interactions.
- Valid driver's license is required and an acceptable driving record.
- Understanding of contracting practices and methods.
- Knowledge of applicable safety code
